Provision of Theological Resources for Church Leaders
During this Fall of 2016 we have provided 200 French MacArthur New Testament combined Bible commentaries to two different ministry partners in Haiti. May they provide strong support for the teaching and preaching of many church leaders throughout Haiti. Praise God for the excellent ministry and work of Publicationes Chretiennes (Quebec, Canada), for making the complete set of Pastor MacArthur's NT commentary series available in four volumes for the Francophone Church of the developing world.
In 2017 we distributed approximately 300 French MacArthur Study Bibles to our ministry partners in Haiti. We provided the French theology manuals, of the Bible Training Centre for Pastors (BTCP) training program, for the two BTCP programs we sponsor in Haiti. Other theology books we distributed in 2017 were 9Marks books on the Church and on Expositional Bible teaching.
In 2018 we purchased and distributed approximately 700 French MacArthur Study Bibles, e.g., at our conferences for pastors and church leaders. We also purchased, and began to distribute, approximately 300 of the new French Systematic Theology Bible Doctrine books of Dr. MacArthur and Dr. Dick Mayhue. We also purchased and began to distribute 208 French MacArthur New Testament combined Bible commentaries. Additional 9Marks books were purchased and provided to the participants in our POTC-9Marks conference series. We continued to purchase and distribute the Bible Training Centre for Pastors (BTCP) training program manuals, for the now three ongoing BTCP programs we sponsor in Haiti.
In 2019 we purchased, from Publications Chretiennes of Quebec, over 300 copies of, “Theologie Sytematique” ( Biblical Doctrine - A Systematic Summary of Bible Truth, General Editors : John MacArthur & Richard Mayhue). Recipients of this excellent resource include many of our graduates of the Bible Centre for Pastors/Leaders program. Through a conference series and using this book, we are teaching them systematic theology. Also, we provided copies of ‘Theologie Sytematique” to each of the approximate 40 students of the Institut Biblique de Grand-Goave in southern Haiti. Theological libraries , of seminaries and Bible training ministries, throughout Haiti, also received copies of this book.
In 2019 we purchased and provided 300 more French MacArthur Study Bibles. Recipients of these very useful and helpful bibles include: 1. Institut Biblique de Grand-Goave, 2. The Facultie de Teologie pour la Mission Integral de 'l’Eglise, 3. The Summer Bible Institute for Lay Leaders in Jacmel, 4. The Open Door Seminary in Limonade (North Haiti), 5. The Hope Baptist Seminary in Cap-Haitien, & 6. The Haitian Church Leadership Training Ministry of TEARS in La Vega, Dominican Republic.
We also compiled and distributed an excellent French language theological primer. This was provided to many of the participants in our four-part pastor’s conference series on the Church and on Expositional Bible preaching/teaching.
